WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT ISCHIA?
If you are thinking of visiting this island, know that the best period is spring and summer. Ischia is a destination which, thanks to its location in the centre of the Mediterranean, allows it to enjoy a mild climate and therefore to be visited all year round. The tourist season in this place begins in the Easter period. From now on, with the longer days and the milder climate, this is the most suitable moment. If you have the possibility, the months of May, September and in recent years also October are called the second summer. This could be the ideal period and the best compromise to visit the island of Ischia, with warm temperatures during the day and few tourists. Often there are those who choose to organize a last escape to Ischia even in the first days of November. If you are lucky, in fact, it is still possible to swim in the warm waters of Sorgeto and in the natural saunas, without forgetting that if the weather permits it in the fumarole area, along the Maronti beach, the temperature under the sand in particular points reach 100°.
